Eric Schwing is Injured

I am starting this Fund Me page because I was severely injured after a fall on February 13th. I am someone who has always worked hard all of my adult life, and like so many seniors I could not afford to retire, so I was still working full-time. My father was a veteran of Korea who was killed in action in the Korean War, so that would make me a Gold Star son in today’s world. I am 69 years old and receive the minimum amount of Social Security income, so I need to continue to work to be able to meet all of my basic living expenses. I am asking for a temporary hand up until I am on the mend and able to return to work. If and when I go back to work I will need a lighter schedule, IF my employer is able to accommodate. I am in rehab, recovering from surgery for a fractured femur and hip, and rehab could take weeks or even months. Any money raised would be used to help pay rent, car payments, utilities or food in the coming months until worker’s compensation kicks in, and even then I will only receive two-thirds of my pay.
